Entering the "Cave of Creation"

On Friday the 13th, we gathered in the spirit of the feminine, using this day to reclaim the power of creation and challenge the usual narratives. With the guidance of Valerie Moore, we entered the "cave of creation" through a guided meditation and scribble drawing art therapy exercise. The focus was on presence, grief, creativity, and self-reflection, all while connecting deeply with our intuition and bodies.

The scribble drawing exercise had us start with random scribbles, then find shapes and develop them into something meaningful. It was a great way to bypass the busy mind and tap into our emotional flow. Many of us discovered unexpected insights, like connecting with nature, processing grief, or gaining clarity around family relationships and personal strengths.

We also chatted about future gatherings and what we want to include, with ideas like combining head, heart, and hands—a balance of learning, connection, and creativity. Everyone was invited to keep up their scribble drawing practice as a personal tool for self-discovery.

Looking forward, we’re exploring in-person gatherings in the new year, where we can continue this journey together!
